Oregon State Fair Reviews

We went on a warm day and still had a good time, but it felt like there used to be better shaded spots around. In some areas it was hard to find anywhere to cool off, so we kept having to stop for drinks and take breaks. It’s a nice fair overall, but adding more covered seating or shaded areas would make a big difference.

Getting around was straightforward for the most part. The signs were clear enough that we found the barns and food area without wasting time. Parking was a little confusing in a couple spots, but it wasn’t a big deal overall.

It felt way too expensive for what it was. The snacks tasted kind of stale, like they’d been sitting there for a while, and the drink options were limited too. I don’t know, I just expected a bit more, I guess.

We got tired quickly because there just weren’t many benches or shaded spots to take a break. It looked nice at first, but after walking around for a bit, the lack of places to sit really stood out

I went in feeling excited to check out the animals, but the livestock pens were kind of messy and there just wasn’t much to see. It ended up being a little disappointing compared to what I was hoping for.

I looked through oregonstatefair.org before going because my dad needed some accessibility info, and while the basics were there, it took me longer than I expected to track everything down.

I did appreciate that the site mentioned accommodations and had some useful details. I just wish things like accessible parking, entrances, and mobility rentals were all laid out together in one clear section.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. The info helped us enough to plan, but it felt a little average and could definitely be clearer for families trying to figure things out ahead of time.

I bought my tickets on oregonstatefair, it went fine overall. I was on my phone though, and the site felt a little clunky. I remember thinking, “Okay, is this payment page actually going to load or…?” because I had to refresh once before it showed up correctly. The tickets did come through in my email a few minutes later, so it wasn’t a big deal in the end. I just wish the checkout process was a little clearer and quicker.

I was kind of embarrassed because I’d talked it up a bit before going, but the vendor selection ended up being disappointing. There just weren’t many booths to check out, and after a short time it felt a little boring.

I went to the Oregon State Fair, the parking was better than I thought it would be. There was a little bit of waiting to get in, but the signs were easy to follow, and the staff, thankfully, pointed us in the right direction. Leaving took a while too, but that’s kind of expected at a big event like this. I also checked the shuttle and transport info on the website beforehand, and it was helpful enough. Not perfect, of course, but overall, it worked out fine

I went with my kids hoping it would be a fun day out, but it was disappointing. The crowds felt really unorganized, the bathrooms were not clean, and my kids got bored way faster than I expected. As a parent, I just didn’t feel like it was very family friendly.

I couldn’t find any clear update anywhere, no email or obvious notice, and even the staff at the fair seemed kind of unsure. It was frustrating after paying for parking and tickets. I get that things can change, but it would’ve been nice to know. Next time I’ll be hesitant to rely on the website.

It felt pretty much the same as last year, honestly. They didn’t really have as many attractions as I expected, and there just wasn’t much variety for the price. The kids still had some fun, so it wasn’t a total miss, but I was hoping for a bit more.

We went mainly for the rides, and I left feeling kind of disappointed. Maybe we just picked a bad day, but quite a few rides were closed, and the ones that were open had really long waits. A couple also felt rough and outdated. It wasn’t an awful experience or anything, and maybe other people would enjoy it more, but for us I’m not sure it was worth the price

The staff at the Oregon State Fair were helpful, when we were actually able to find someone. One lady gave us really good directions, and she was friendly, which we appreciated. But around the parking and food areas, it kind of felt like there wasn’t anyone around to ask for help. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just seems like they could use a few more people out there helping visitors.

I had a good time overall, but I’ll be honest, some of the games felt like they were hard to win. Maybe like 2 or 3 of them seemed a little stacked against you. Still fun to play, just don’t expect to walk away with a bunch of prizes

I went in hoping for a fun day, and there were definitely a few parts that seemed like they could be enjoyable. The place has potential, for sure. That said, it felt dirty overall. The bathrooms really needed attention, there was trash around, and some of the facilities looked a bit run down. It’s hard to fully enjoy the experience when the basic stuff like clean restrooms and well-maintained areas isn’t being kept up.

I used oregonstatefair.org to look up tickets and fair details, and overall it kinda felt safe and easy to use. The pages loaded fine, and I didn’t run into any weird pop-ups or anything that seemed sketchy. I do wish the security or payment info was a little clearer, but I didn’t have any real problems. I’d give it 4 stars

I went to check out the competitive exhibits, some of them were cool. You could tell a lot of people put real time and effort into their entries, which I appreciated.

That said, the setup was all over the place. Some sections were easy enough to follow, but others were crowded, weirdly arranged, or barely labeled, so I kept standing there trying to figure out what I was even looking at. I felt kind of stupid for trusting that it would be laid out in a way that made sense.

Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stop at the fair, but it definitely could’ve been clearer. I’d probably still go again, but I really hope they clean up the displays and make the labels easier to understand next time.

We had a decent time at the Oregon State Fair overall. Tickets weren’t too bad, but once you add in parking, food, and a few rides, it gets expensive really quick, kind of one of those “wait, how much did we just spend?” moments. It was still a fun way to spend the day, and there’s plenty to see and do, but I do wish it felt like a little better value for the money.
